Simulation environments

We primarily use industry packages for both Finite Element and Finite Difference Time Domain Solvers. These include, but are not limited to:

Sim4LifeSim4Life is an FDTD-based revolutionary simulation platform, combining computable human phantoms with the most powerful physics solvers and the most advanced tissue models, for directly analyzing biological real-world phenomena and complex technical devices in a validated biological and anatomical environment. The Sim4Life platform also offers leading performance with all the features expected from a multiphysics CAE/TCAD platform

COMSOL – COMSOL Multiphysics is a cross-platform finite element analysis, solver and multiphysics simulation software. It allows conventional physics-based user interfaces and coupled systems of partial differential equations.

Virtual Family Body ModelsSim4Life natively supports the Virtual Population ViP 3.0 models that include integrated posing and morphing tools. Other publicly available animal and human anatomical models are also supported. All tissues are linked to a continually updated physical properties database.

Hardware environment

We use a dedicated computational server environment with GPU acceleration for our solvers. Your data is secure, encrypted and backed up.

What to Expect

We will begin our journey with an initial consult to determine your needs and will discuss suitable modeling solutions and a roadmap that are customized to your engineering problem as well as deliverables. We will then establish a quote for your services and begin our work together. We provide weekly updates including videoconference calls if desired to report progress and assess milestones. We will conclude our services with a visually attractive report detailing the obtained solutions and their impact on the engineering problem in question.
